Good evening and welcome to our final NewsNote of the year! We have a very special (and abbreviated) schedule this week. Here is a brief summary :
Tuesday : Coffee Cart for parents (8:30a-9:30a) and Bake Sale for students at first recess, & Early Release, 2:00p
Wednesday : Play Day and Early Release, 2:00p
Thursday : 9:00 Mass and Early Release, 10:00a
Extended Care will be available to all families from after school-6:00pm, as usual. Remember, if your child needs Extended Care on Thursday, they MUST bring a lunch.

All items are 25¢ and additional donations and gratefully accepted - All proceeds go to next years' Giving Tree gifts!
We’re in the final stretch of the school year and who couldn’t use a little extra caffeine? Parents, join us on Tuesday, June 10th after school drop off for half off all coffee drinks from mobile coffee trailer Lilac City Coffee! The coffee trailer will be set up at the back of the parking lot close to the field. Drop your kids off at Safety Square and then walk over to get a coffee. Thank you to the Rebel Parent Group for hosting this parents-only event!

This school day is a much anticipated highlight for our Kindergarten - 4th grade students. Led by the 7th grade class, students enjoy free dress, hot dog lunch and a day full of games and fun. 5th and 6th grade students go bowling.

We are still collecting library books in the office. Please turn in all books this week to avoid fines.
We’re thrilled to announce that the INW Dyslexia Alliance, a local nonprofit dedicated to supporting individuals with dyslexia, their families, and professionals, is now offering services to our school community. We are partnering with the Inland Northwest Dyslexia Alliance to provide intervention services for students needing literacy support.
The Alliance provides:
- Dyslexia evaluations
- One-on-one literacy intervention sessions (30 minutes, twice weekly)
- A flexible, pledge-based donation system to help make services accessible to all families
- This is not covered in our school tuition; financial support is provided directly by the Alliance.
This is a non-profit, NOT FREE service...but they will work with families as needed.

Adopt a garden and help a charity for a week! If your family likes to garden, weed, weigh, compost, harvest and water as needed then we have a deal for you. Our St. Thomas More outdoor garden will need TLC from our school families over the summer. Classes are preparing to plant with love knowing that everything we harvest will go to our on-site St Vincent de Paul food bank and Gonzaga Family Haven. Your kiddos will get to see the “fruits of their labor”—literally! The St Thomas More Cross Country program offers students the opportunity to experience the joy of distance running, learn exercises and techniques to improve their speed, strength, endurance, and run with athletes their own age.
