Saint of the Month : St. John of the Gospel
St. John was one of the Twelve Apostles of Jesus. He was the only apostle to stand faithfully at the cross during our Savior's passion, and Jesus made John the guardian of His Mother, Mary. John went on to write four books in the New Testament: Gospel of John, the three Epistles of John, and the Book of Revelation. He is believed to be the longest living apostle and the only not to die a martyr's death. St. John is the patron saint of love, loyalty, friendships, and authors. Clearly we have much to learn from this most beloved disciple. St. John, pray for us!
"A new command I give you: Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another. By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another. "

Wrestling Photo
Thursday, May 8
We will be taking a group photo of all wrestlers this Thursday in the 3rd grade classroom immediately after school. Be sure to send your wrestler with their team shirt this day to wear for the photograph.
Mother Son Bingo is fast approaching - Come dressed in your favorite gamer costume or sports uniform, this is the night "Gamers and Players Unite" to celebrate allll the games! Pizza, snacks, and beverages will be provided. The Knights of Columbus will host several games of Bingo, and you could win some exciting prizes! Buy your tickets now!
